This game shows that you put a lot of effort into it, but for what? All you did was recreate Sid Meyiers PIRATES, and you did it very boring and badly. The sprites are beautiful but after that I see no more appeal.

If your going to pour your heart and soul into a game project, at least make sure the game your making is original. You even took the layout of the land, the ship battles, the cannon types, even the freaking music. You must not have an original bone in your body.

The engine for the platformer is still very scratchy and jumpy. It skips frames a lot and it generally hard to control.

Some of the graphics look bleh because a lot of them resized un-proportionally. This compounds with the games lag to make it almost unbearable to play for me D:

If that's not enough, you have this "cash to get out of the level" thing going on. Apparently, no one who's reviewed has even been able to get out the first level due to that. It makes the game unnecessarily hard, and adds a large level of confusion to the game. The one level I played was designed *okay*. I could run through the whole thing by just jumping and hitting forward, but it looked good :P. Or at least, would look good if you hadn't resized things so sloppily.

You had good ideas for the whole game, and I can really see how it could be a great game. You just didn't really polish any of those aspects though.

-they have to be over critical of it. I loved this movie. Great graphics, and a good story/setup. I don't see how people can say that this movie is missing a story when a story is right in front of them. A story doesn't have to be an epic adventure to be interesting, and just because it isn't doesn't mean it's boring. I saw a character in a beautiful world carrying out a sequence of events that were well planned . As far as definition goes, thats a story line to me, and all those people saying that the movie is horrible simply because they feel the story line is weak aren't even looking at the better aspects of the movie.

At least, thats how I feel.

Before I read through the other reviews of this movie, let me say that the only thing I got out of this movie was drug addiction ._. Either that IS what the movie is about or either I'm too shallow to notice what it was actually about.

I hope it's the latter.
