That would look awesome in a game, you control the seas and try to either destroy certain ships, or save them.. eh.. :P
It looks a lot like the one Komix submitted to Newgrounds. This one isn't as smooth or as rounded-out but it definitely works. It could definitely be used in an EPIC GAME.
I wish I knew how to do this, it's got so much potential.
